How am I?

well currently i am destroying this ham sandwich. So i would say that i am doing pretty good. Actually i think i am doing great. wow i actually said that.

The question "how are you doing?" goes around all the time. Recently for the past few months i have answered with "i'm okay" or "i'm fine" or even sometimes "i'm good". But this past few days something is going on and i feel great! Some people have asked me how i am doing and i gave the answer "great" I'm thinking that its the end-of-school beginning-of-summer thing.

Well whatever it is its awsome. I guess i may have just relized that life is beautiful and im breathing so its all good. So how am i?...im great.

Finished with that sandwich now. I am super stoked for this weekend. Going camping at the beach, what is better then that? Surfing, music, more surfing, more music, and s'mores! awsome. Can't wait. Another thing to add, i found i made it onto the main service worship team. I was really worried i didn't have a good audition, but i made it. awsome. On the note of music i wrote a song about a week or two ago and recorded a little demo that only about 3 or 4 people have heard. Its not amazing, but if you would like to hear it just talk to me or send me a message and i'll get that to you.

sweet. thanks for reading and have a great day/night.

Darfur

In our english class we have been working on a project. Something about genocide. For those dictionary people this is for you
(according to dictionary.com)

Genocide-noun- the deliberate and systematic extermination of a national, racial, political, or cultural group.

There is a region in Sudan called Darfur. There is an ongoing war going on there right now, at this very moment. This conflict started when two rebel groups felt they were being rejected by the government. In February of 2003, they started launching attacks. People, human beings, are being murdered. The casualty of this is more than 300,000 people dead, and more than 2.5 million people displaced.

What are we doing about this? really...not much.

As you may recall the recent "swine flu" incident. A very small number of people died from this, and 1.5 billion dollars was spent. Thats $1,500,000,000.
On the other hand, some 300,000 people have died in Darfur, and nothing done to stop this.

My good buddy(or not) Jon Foreman of Switchfoot, has been on a fast and is the reason i am posting this. Try to get some awareness of what is going on in the other side of the world.

Here is an interview of him. Its kinda long though, sorry.

I pray that America gets its act together, and starts helping the people who are really in need.
