The State Tests

So this week at my demented school we have been taking the California State Tests. which are in my opinion, a huge waste of time. Tuesday started at 8 and ended around two. Started with the english/language Section. It was pretty easy. Then moved on to world history part. left at two, got home and i chilled it.

Wednesday was pretty much a useless day in my life. didn't do anything productive, EXCEPT for church. i went to youth group and it was great.

There was actually a moment during the worship where the thought came to me, "Who would accept me for past mistakes, or what i look like, or who i am?" This thought doesn't come to me that much, because i just don't care that much. i mean, if you don't like me, that's not my problem. But for some weird reason, it was in my mind.

But then just before the last song(How He Loves Us, as posted below)he mentioned that God doesn't care what you have done, or what you will do, he still loves you. crazy, but true. he quoted a lyric from that song "if grace is an ocean we're all sinking." we don't deserve it but the great thing is, we get it!

anyway thought i would say that.

Back to testing. Test started around 8. Today we had math(geometry for me) and then life science. both of them subjects i am not good with. so i probably did horrible, but the good thing is they are not graded. these tests apparently tell how good the school is doing with teaching. so if i do bad they are bad teachers right? hah me and my brilliance could get the school shut down. so finished my test way early and just hung around until i got picked up. now i am off to waste my day owning noobs on halo.

oh and the teacher said something like, be productive with your time, for those of us who finished the test earlier then others. so i made myself a friend.

ohh yeah, 100% legit.

video worth the viewing

I don't know if anyone has seen this video, but it is defiantly powerful, and definitely worth the watch. We play this song in our high school youth band sometimes and i love when i we play it because this song is amazing! Words cannot really describe the video so just watch.

Anyway, thought i would share this. In case your wondering, the song is called "How He Loves Us, by John Mark McMillan.

As of now life is kinda eh, kinda good. Summer is about a month away, and i am super stoked for that. Although right now, with this weather, it sort of feels like we are already in summer...

Relationships

If you don't have a boyfriend or girlfriend you are not cool. You're a loser, nerd, or any other word like these.

This is so much bull! why is this the thought of people???

I was invited to hang out with my friend, and we decided to go to the Riverside Plaza and chill. His sister and her best friend came along too. At one point in the night it was just me, her and her best friend. My friend was away on the phone. a little awkward

So the subject of boyfriends and girlfriends and relationships came up. I just kept my mouth shut. Then the question came to me, "How is your love life?" I simply said, "There is none." And to sum it up, she just said, you need a girlfriend. I didn't say much to this statement, but in my head i was thinking, no, no i do not need a girlfriend. There had been someone sorta mentioned that she knew i liked, and she said, "you should/need to ask her out."...seriously, why??? why ruin a relationship(friends wise)??? If and when the time comes for anything more, then it will happen, i do not want to rush anything. shes a great girl, and i really do not want to ruin our friendship.

and to get off subject for a second. i am not putting down the girl that said this to me, she is not the only one. it just bugs me when people tell me this kind of stuff.

Anyway...you might be thinking(if you know me) "wait a minute Dana, haven't you had girlfriends before?" and the answer is yes, i have. But you learn from your mistakes. I realized that heck, I'm too young for this sort of thing right now. And its high school, i should be happy and living life, not worrying about marriage and future life.

And also if you're wondering, just to clear any rumors or anything up, Yes, there is a girl i like, but No it is nothing serious. nothing wrong with that right? correct me if i am wrong. If and when the time comes for anything to happen, then by Gods plan, let it happen! he knows what i want, and what i need. And he will give me what i really, truly need

But for now, i will live life single, and happy. yeah, I'm happy. life is chill. I'm just hoping that it will stay like this when school starts again.

lemme know what you think about this.
